Accuvant and FishNet Security have signed a definitive agreement to join forces.
The move blends more than 1,400 employees to serve customers as well as more than 650 consultants and engineers, and 60 offices, training and security operations locations throughout the U.S. and Canada, according to a Wednesday release.
Accuvant CEO Dan Burns will become CEO of the new company when the transaction closes, with FishNet Security CEO Rich Fennessy acting as an advisor.
“Together, FishNet Security and Accuvant will be better positioned to provide holistic, high-value, and integrated security solutions that cover all aspects of cyber defense,” Fennessy was quoted in the release.
The financial terms of the transaction are not being disclosed, but the transaction is expected to close by the first quarter of next year, the release indicates.
