Adobe on Monday released security updates across multiple platforms that address vulnerabilities in Flash Player and AIR, some of which are deemed critical.
Among all of the bugs are a variety of type confusion, use-after-free, buffer overflow, memory corruption, stack corruption and stack overflow vulnerabilities that can lead to code execution, a Monday security bulletin said. The updates also include fixes for a memory leak vulnerability and flaws that could lead to information disclosure.
In a release emailed to SCMagazine.com on Monday, Adobe said it is not aware of any exploits in the wild that are targeting these vulnerabilities. However, Adobe considers the Flash Player update for Windows and Macintosh to be Priority 1, so users should update to 19.0.0.185 as soon as possible.
