CrowdStrike has launched a new generative AI chatbot called Charlotte AI as part of new integrations to help users address cybersecurity incidents more effectively, SiliconANGLE reports.
According to Crowdstrike, Charlotte AI was designed to help organizations understand and remediate breaches more quickly. The company revealed that Charlotte uses the Amazon Bedrock AI service, which provides cloud-hosted foundation models through application programming interfaces. Through the chatbot, users will now be able to interact with Crowdstrike's Falcon Cloud Security platform using natural language instructions.
Charlotte AIs functions include detecting vulnerable systems in an organizations network, such as laptops containing a certain known software exploit, and providing remediation recommendations. It can also provide information on cyberattacks that are currently ongoing against a company and specify the attackers target systems and breach tactics.
The new service is expected to aid users who possess limited technical knowledge when it comes to cybersecurity, letting them improve the company's cybersecurity posture without the help of administrators.
