Cross-Cloud services by VMWare now available on AWS

VMWare announced that cloud migration support tools including Carbon Black Cloud, VMware CloudHealth and VMware Tanzu that comprise its Cross-Cloud services have been made available on the AWS Marketplace, according to SiliconANGLE.

Launched in October, Cross-Cloud’s suite of services allows organizations to develop a common platform for developing cloud-native applications using the services and platforms they choose, establish application security policies that are implemented across multiple clouds, integrate on-premises applications through a cloud-like infrastructure and manage performance with a range of cross-cloud tools.

AWS users will now also benefit from the new availability of VMWare’s CloudHealth Secure State, which is a smart cloud-native compliance and security platform that helps safeguard their cloud infrastructure resources.

Meanwhile, the also newly available VMware SASE gives users a range of cloud-based security functions including zero-trust network access, firewalls and web security as well as software-defined wide area network capabilities to ensure secure applications access to an organization’s distributed workforce.
