Several new capabilities have been introduced by CrowdStrike to its Falcon enterprise cybersecurity platform in a bid to better protect cloud environments from cybersecurity threats, reports SiliconAngle.
Insecure cloud instances could be identified and addressed with CrowdStrike Falcon's new 1-Click XDR feature, which enables automated installation of the agent in cloud environments where it is absent.
"This innovation enables organizations to easily view all unmanaged AWS EC2 instances for Windows and Linux, as well as unregistered accounts, to identify vulnerable workloads and automatically protect them," said CrowdStrike Chief Product Officer Raj Rajamani.
CrowdStrike has also added Agent Snapshot Scanning to facilitate cloud asset scans even in the event that an agent could not be installed, while the new Complete Cloud Attack Path Visualization tool enables a better understanding of potential attack techniques that could be leveraged by attackers. Over 1,000 configuration-related security issues could also be detected by Falcon with the latest update, which comes after CrowdStrike's introduction of the Charlotte AI cybersecurity chatbot.
