Fake FedEx delivery emails contain trojan

Malicious emails purporting to be FedEx parcel delivery notifications have begun hitting inboxes worldwide, according to researchers at anti-virus firm Sophos. The unwanted messages state that a package was sent to the recipient's home address and contain an attached file that supposedly provides a tracking number for the package. Opening the attachment may cause malware identified as Troj/Bredo-FN to infect Windows computers. Similar malware, disguised as delivery notices, previously has made the rounds. – AM
