Juniper has unveiled Security Director Cloud, the company’s entry into the Secure Access Service Edge arena, which enables easier access to and management of network and security services for companies undergoing transition into SASE, according to FierceTelecom.
“The trajectory of SASE has been crazy. But for customers this is a transformation that will take a long time, at least 18 months if not a few years. Security Director Cloud will help them unify management of their traditional networking and security deployments, as well as their transition to a new SASE environment,” said Kate Adam, Juniper’s senior director of security product marketing.
The solution offers enterprises the ability to manage cloud-hosted and on-premises security in a synchronized and multidirectional manner, in addition to providing tools for zero-touch provisioning and configuration of secure connectivity, advanced threat prevention, and content security. Companies will also be able to enforce unified security policies across physical, virtual and cloud environments and will have access to cyberattack protection that is rated by third-party testers as more than 99% effective against a range of attack methods that target edge and data centers.
