Microsoft on Thursday made available its Windows 8 Release Preview, the final development step before the official version is released later this year. The unveiling, following February's Consumer Preview, which was downloaded more than a million times in the first 24 hours, includes new applications and refinements across the operating system, including in Internet Explorer 10. The browser will contain several security and privacy features, including the industry's first do-not-track functionality that is enabled by default.
