Oracle on Tuesday is planning to release 88 patches to address vulnerabilities across a wide range of the company's products, according to an announcement. Four of the fixes will plug holes in the popular database solution, while the most number of patches will be applied to Fusion Middleware (22) and Sun Products Suite (25). Thirty-three of the 88 fixes will seal shut issues that an attacker can remotely exploit without authentication. None of the updates will be for the heavily targeted Java software, which Oracle attends to exclusive of its quarterly Critical Patch Update.
