Prowler Pro for AWS security launched by Verica

Verica has announced the launch of the Prowler Pro service, which is designed to aid in securing multiple accounts in Amazon Web Services, according to Security Boulevard. The new offering features a graphical interface tool that eases the execution of tasks including AWS security assessments, continuous monitoring, incident response, audits, hardening and forensics, according to Verica Chief Technology Officer Aaron Rinehart. It also grants access to more than 220 controls such as CIS, ISO27001 and HIPAA in addition to various custom security frameworks. Prowler Open Source founder and technology head Toni de la Fuente said their tool will see continuous updates by the community, expanding its database checks to exceed 220. Prowler Pro will extend this using Verica's Continuous Verification platform to enable continuous checks for system weaknesses and security flaws to prevent disruption of business processes. A continuous feedback loop from the system will also help enterprises ensure that development teams are meeting compliance requirements.
