Identities and cyber assets could be automatically scanned and classified by Red Sift's new Relevance Detection solution, which has been touted to be the first-ever tool of its kind to leverage OpenAI's GPT-4 large language model, SiliconAngle reports.
GPT-4 will be used by Relevance Detection, which is integrated into Red Sift's OnDOMAIN hostname and certification platform, to facilitate the discovery and contextualization of various identities, as well as provide a recommendation on enabling them.
"This helps them decide which identities they want to include in their domain asset discovery process," said Red Sift CEO Rahul Powar. Powar touted that Relevance Detection's automated asset discovery capabilities could significantly reduce time spent in mitigating security vulnerabilities.
"The average Fortune 500 company takes 12 or more hours to find a serious vulnerability, while bad actors focusing on a site takes less than 45 minutes. This means that discovering assets that are unknown, short-lived or impersonating is critical, and discovering them quickly is equally as critical," said Powar.
