Sam Curry has joined Arbor Networks in the newly created position of chief technology and security officer.
Curry will develop and implement the company's product strategy and innovation roadmap, according to a press release. He previously held roles at RSA, McAfee and Computer Associates, most recently working as senior vice president of information security and chief information security officer at MicroStrategy.
In a company interview, Curry said his new role will merge together two positions that are typically seen as separate from each other and that he hoped Arbor Networks will bring more “depth and insight to a world that is screaming for more relevant solutions and truly effective tools and defenses.”
