Nearly a week after its network was hacked, Sony Pictures Entertainment had multiple films leaked online.
Brad Pitt's recently released World War II film “Fury” was downloaded 500,000 times since the attack last week, according to Bloomberg. The company's upcoming “Annie” also leaked online, along with “Still Alice,” “Mr. Turner,” and “To Write Love On Her Arms.”
Some investigations of the attack have pointed to the possible involvement of North Korea due to the attack's timing around Sony's new film “The Interview,” a comedy about a planned assassination on North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.
Reuters also reported on Monday that Sony hired FireEye's Mandiant forensics unit to further investigate the cyber incident.
The company's email system was still down on Monday, but it was expected to come back online later in the day.
