Kris Tanaka

Kris Tanaka is vice president of event programming at CyberRisk Alliance. Prior to joining the CyberRisk Alliance team, she was director of event content for North American conferences at SAPinsider. With over 20 years of experience in event content development, marketing and communications, Kris specializes in creating interactive experiences and impactful agendas that focus on the top priorities and issues for security communities. Prior SAPinsider, Kris held various content and communication roles at Evanta, A Gartner Company, SecureWorld, Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), and The Oregonian Publishing Company. She is currently a member of the ISSA Portland chapter, and she has served on the ISSA Journal Editorial Advisory Board since 2014. Kris has a BA in Journalism from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
