Siloed tools, manual processes, and lack of visibility leave many in-house SOC teams at a disadvantage when it comes to stopping attacks and minimizing damage. Collecting and correlating data from EDR, NDR and SIEM tools takes too long, and when you've finally have done so, the attacker's already succeeded.

Implementing XDR or MDR will provide more comprehensive detection, quicker collection and correlation of data from endpoints, identity systems, cloud, networks and e-mail, and the ability to begin response efforts and shut down attacks as they happen -- automatically.
