A Los Angeles man was charged, last week, with 109 felonies and 42 misdemeanors relating to extorting young girls into sending him naked photos.
Cesar Mauricio Estrada-Davila, 19, is accused of extorting 21 victims between the ages of 12 and 17 years old, according to the Los Angels District Attorney's office. Authorities say between January and April 2015, Estrada posed as a modeling agent on social networking sites and then asked the girls for pictures in their underwear.
“After Estrada reportedly received the images, he would tell the victims he was going to send the photos to their friends and family if they did not send nude pictures,” the prosecutor said the report.
Estrada was caught after one of the victims informed her parents who subsequently reported his actions to the authorities. He faces several life sentences if convicted as charged.
