Sensato Cybersecurity acquired by CloudWave

Healthcare Innovation reports that health care data security firm CloudWave has agreed to purchase Sensato Cybersecurity, a provider of managed security services, for undisclosed terms. Sensato developed a fully integrated Cybersecurity-as-a-Service platform that features an innovative solution stack to provide real-time network monitoring, intrusion detection, and asset fingerprinting along with a 24x7 Security Operations Center designed specifically for healthcare infrastructure and connected devices, according to the company press release. CloudWave said that it will soon launch this technology as the new Sensato Cybersecurity Suite. The new solution will provide threat detection, cybersecurity response and compliance with best practices and regulations via a single platform and will complement CloudWaves existing OpSus Cloud Services to provide health care systems and facilities with a fully managed cybersecurity program that ensures complete HIPAA and NIST compliance. Users will also receive continuous support via the company's Cybersecurity Tactical Operations Center, which is composed of cybersecurity analysts and machine learning technology devoted to continuous monitoring for threats.
