Bugcrowd last week launched a free educational platform for security researchers called Bugcrowd University.
The platform currently consists of five modules focused on techniques and strategies designed to help researchers participate in bug bounties.
“Bugcrowd University (BCU) was developed with the aim of promoting the development and education of security professionals, sharing the latest technologies and contributing to the development of bug hunting skills,” the company said in an Aug 24 press release.
The first modules focus on web hacking and the firm will add more modules to the platform in the coming months.
The program also offers five webinars that will provide an introduction to Bugcrowd University, how to make good submissions, security testing and access controls, cross-site scripting vulnerabilities, and an introduction to the Burp suite.
Bugcrowd is also using the platform to invite IT professionals to comment on the types of content they are interested in as well.
