While distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks garner a majority of the headlines, there are a slew of DNS attacks wreaking havoc on organizations across the globe. Some of these attacks take over an organization's DNS server, altering mapping at times – commonly referred to as cache poisoning –and once they do compromise the server, it's game over in terms of the damage they can cause.
