People on the move: Appointment at FireEye

David Butler is the new vice-president of sales and business development at FireEye. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience from previous executive roles at companies such as Aruba Networks, IBM and Inktomi.

While at Aruba Networks, where he was VP of worldwide sales andbusiness development, Butler contributed to tripling the company'svaluation annually, in less than three years. In his new role, hisresponsibilities will involve the management of FireEye's sales effortsduring its continuing global expansion.
