The Triad Enterprise Authentication and Migration System (TEAMS) system from Triad Biometrics takes a new look at enterprise-level fingerprint biometric network security authentication. TEAMS uniquely eliminates passwords at the application level and enables users to access web-based applications conveniently and securely while simultaneously preventing the possibility of SQL injection. The most dominant feature is the inability to create and enroll aliases into the system without administrative resolution.
While advanced, this product is not a quick install. There are several factors and prerequisites that need to be addressed. The initial setup consists of several parts, including setting up a SQL server database if there is not one available already. After the database is set and a TEAMS user is created, a script must be run to build the data tables. Now the server can be set up. After the server is set up and configured using a configuration utility, the client must be installed along with devices on the client machines. The system is ready to go and all administration is done using a web-based interface. We found this interface to be intuitive to navigate and easy to use.
This product provides solid and powerful integration with web applications to keep sensitive data safe and out of the wrong hands. However, this product is not designed to manage Windows logon and will not modify the Windows graphical identification and authentication.
