Madonna hacker indicted in Israeli court

An Israeli magistrate court has indicted a man who allegedly hacked Madonna and leaked music from her Rebel Heart album before it was released.

Adi Lederman, 39, had been arrested five weeks ago in Tel Aviv and was officially charged with four counts, including computer trespassing and secret monitoring along with additional computer trespassing, according to a report in The Hollywood Reporter. The computer trespassing charge is related to Lederman hacking into private SoundCloud accounts of a sound engineer, musical director and an associate who were sharing Madonna's music.

The song files were sold to a number of clients, including two referred to in court documents as Craig Lunti and Tom Hann. Lederman reportedly tried to get Lunti to delete correspondence about the caper to thwart investigators, which drew him a count of obstructing investigation in the Israeli court.
