Why Nominated: Adam Isles, who has held leadership positions in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Department of Justice, National Security Council and Raytheon before joining The Chertoff Group, is a senior associate (non- resident) at the Center for Strategic & International Studies Homeland Security & Counterterrorism Program and serves on the board of directors for the Regional Plan Association of New York.
He’s frequently tapped for thought leadership on the evolving security risk management landscape. In just the last year, he was selected for a joint program between Boston University Law School and Qatar
University’s College of Law to train students and officials in how to combat terrorist financing and to join the IoT Community’s 2019 master class panel to provide input and peer reviews in developing IoT standards’ best practices. Isles also contributed a chapter to the American Bar Association book on National Security and IoT.
An advocate for building holistic programs to manage security risk, Isles is a security risk management expert whose expertise cuts across a number of industries – including financial services, retail, technology, transportation and consumer packaged goods sectors.
