Best NAC Solution | Cisco Systems Identity Services Engine (ISE)

Share

ISE enables third-party integrations to increase intelligent policy enforcement and to automate threat containment, and is the only solution that is proven to support up to 2 million concurrent endpoint sessions.

Cisco’s Identity Services Engine (ISE) got a major uplift this year with version 3.0.

ISE tracks up to 2 million endpoint sessions, exceeding the current needs of its largest deployments. Organizations choose ISE for scalability and to answer the call of remote access and IoT.  ISE also takes a platform approach, integrating with Cisco and third-party solutions to bring an active arm of protection into passive security solutions, accelerate ROI, and bring zero trust into the workplace.

ISE now addresses a broad set of mission-critical NAC use cases for networking and security teams, including dynamic visibility, visibility driven segmentation, automated threat containment, endpoint compliance. With or without an agent, ISE continually verifies that device posture complies with security policy, and secure access.

“With a focus on useability, scale and performance the Cisco ISE team delivers major product releases twice a year,” the company said in its entry form. “To ensure customer feedback drives a quality experience we provide patches as required, usually about every 45 days for newer releases.”
