Rajesh spent the past five years as CISO at Rush University System for Health (RUSH) where he built the function from the ground up, grew the team, and identified and mitigated risks for RUSH’s cyber strategy. Prior to RUSH, Rajesh also worked at GE and Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology. He has numerous certifications in the field of Cybersecurity, certified CISO from Carnegie Mellon University and a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy, Quantico.
Rajesh has lived and worked in the Chicagoland area for the past 21 years. He plays tennis, enjoys watching cricket and World Cup soccer, and exploring new restaurants. His wife, Julie, is a college professor, and they have a 12-year-old daughter.
