This is important to me because it's a cool new commercially available technology that promises efficiency and time savings--and therefore everyone wants to use it without a thorough understanding of how to secure data used with it or correcting model bias introduced through improper governance. The implications, particularly in the healthcare space, are significant where AI-driven care decisions can drift away from optimal care and have the potential to expose significant care gaps.

Aaron has been the CISO for Main Line Health, a health system based in Philadelphia, PA, for the past four years. Prior to that, he was the CISO for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services, which provided support and care services for over 3 million Massachusetts residents.
Prior to undertaking a career in cybersecurity, Aaron was an attorney who primarily worked on data security and privacy matters plus large-scale IT contracting.
