We found this tool to be reasonably easy to install and configure. The management console is deployed on a Windows server running IIS. Once this web-based console is installed, it can be accessed from any machine connected to the network, and administrators can use their Active Directory credentials to login to the console. We found this management console to have an intuitive layout that was easy to navigate.
On the user side, users can use this product for many self-tasks, such as password and mailbox management and mobile device setup. This allows for less stress on help desk administrators for simple tasks, such as password resets.
Documentation provided with this product included a PDF installation guide and an HTML-based help file in the management console. We found both of these documents to be helpful, but more in-depth documentation would have been nice to have as well.
Ensim provides standard email and phone technical support as part of the product purchase price. As well, premium support with added benefits is available for 20 percent of the list price of the product annually.
At a price ranging from $5-12 we find this product to be a solid value for the money. The Ensim Unify suite of tools provides end-to-end user management in an easy-to-use product.
